Web Developer

Job Description:

Position is for a Web Developer for a company specializing in wholesale of general merchandise. Position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining company's website, ERP system, and warehouse system. Duties will include, but are not limited to: design and develop interactive website and applications; implement front-end frameworks, such as React.js or AngularJS; integrating backend services and APis; optimizing website and application performance and loading speeds; ensuring cross-browser and cross-platform combability; ensuring that website and applications adhere to required accessibility standards; coordinating with UI/UX designers to translate designs; implementing version control systems to manage codebase changes; code review and quality testing; debug and troubleshooting issues across website and applications; developing and implementing security controls and measures to protect against system vulnerabilities; monitoring and analyzing website/application traffic and performance; and provide technical support to internal teams. 

 

Requirements:

Position requires knowledge of and working familiarity with various web development tools and programming languages, including: Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Visual Studio Code, Atom, Jetbrains PyCharm, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, BrowserStack, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Git, GitHub, GitLab, ESLint, JSHint, CodeClimate, OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Security Headers, Jenkins, Google Analytics, SEO Panel, Mautic, Matomo, Datadog, and Zendesk. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science and 1 year of experience. Experience as an IT Manager is acceptable, or any suitable combination of education, training or experience thereof. $59,218/yr.
